Roberto Delfrate and Claude Franceschi, the inventor of the CHIVA therapeutic strategy have been teaching courses of Continuing Medical Education on hemodynamic diagnostics and the surgical treatment of venous insufficiency for the treatment of varicose veins with the preservation of the saphenous vein for many years, and they have continued to teach correct and efficient application of this surgical treatment to many colleagues.

The role of the ultrasound in the development of the most innovative processes of diagnosis and treatment of the venous disease has changed immensely thanks to the studies of the CHIVA hemodynamic diagnostics.

Roberto Delfrate and Claude Franceschi explain the latest development in the Echo Color Doppler hemodynamic investigation with the use of an irreplaceable instrument—the cartographic map—in their courses.

Training can be organised for a large audience or for a few physicians. In seminars, specific topics and problems can be examined and studied more deeply and the participants can be involved in the mapping of clinical cases directly chosen from their own patients.

Claude Franceschi’s lectures can be held in French, English, Spanish or Italian.
